The Marine Mammal Care Center is the only 24/7/365 safe haven for seals and sea lions stranded in Los Angeles County. We have rehabilitated over 8,000 patients with injuries and illnesses like malnourishment, net entanglement, parasites, and gunshot wounds. The Center focuses on rehabilitating animals in need, while also educating the public and contributing to important conservation research. The Marine Mammal Care Center serves as a temporary home to sea animals across the South Bay and the Greater Los Angeles community. MMCC relies on support to continue crucial conservation work and to save the lives of these animals.
